We were looking to have our roof done due to missing singles and a lot of granular loss. We had a 4 offers from other roofing contractors but after speaking with Josh decided to go with East Penn. Josh was very knowledgeable and explained the process that he and his team would perform. The crew arrived early, promptly set up protection of the landscape and backyard deck prior to working. They spent the full day removing the old roofing , replaced rotted board and fully restored the new roof and throughly clean up all debris when done. They clean up so well you hardly know they were there. I’m extremely happy with the new OC roof color and the way Josh and his crew conducted themselves. They were safe courteous, professional, and did an excellent job. ~ shawnbl20

After numerous quotes, we wound up going with East Penn Roofing. During the quote, Josh took his time (over 2 hours!) with us, was incredibly thorough, detailed and answered any questions that we had. Pricing was very good and competitive. Everything was well communicated up to the day of the job. His team was in and out same day, and did an impeccable job. Cleanup was just as good. The next day the gutters were installed and again - another wonderful job. The team seemed very focused and knew what they were doing. I've worked with a lot of different contractors over the years, and Josh is hands down one of the best to work with. He's very reasonable, understanding, fair and personable. East Penn roofing did an awesome job with my roof replacement! They were very responsive and easy to work with to schedule my roof replacement. Sale associate Austin was incredibly professional and helpful. He and Jessica Weber ensured all my questions were answered without delay. Rich and the entire team worked very hard and so efficiently come roof replacement day. Their expertise was evident and the quality in their work is impeccable. Everyone I know told me to watch out for nails in my yard after. I have 2 dogs and was concerned they’d step on a nail. To my pleasant surprise, I haven’t found a single nail. I have one of 2 jobs completed. The Gutter job on my deck roof went very smoothly. The workers were professional. EPRoofing did everything to accomodate my busy schedule. I work fr home, consulting. My estimator, Patrick was terrific very knowledgeable. He is available 4 all my questions and prompt on his call backs. The whole staff is very nice 2 work with. I have another job (small job) coming up... I was a little apprehensive on going forward due to my work schedule filling in for sept and oct. Jessica assured me they will work with me. I'm glad I called and expressed my reservations. I look forward to the roof repairs on my deck. Cant wait 4 it 2 stop leaking....! We had a an unusual roof leak that I just couldn't figure out. I suspected it was a result of ice dams from the two major snow storms last winter. However this was not the case. On the recommendation of a friend I called East Penn and the owner Josh came out. He is very Knowledgable, prompt and personable. He offered to inspect the area of the leak both interior and exterior. Josh uncovered a plumbing pipe buried under insulation that was the culprit. The leaking was a result of in adequate ventilation in the attic causing the pipe to condensate. I'd like to add that the area where the pipe was located was extremely difficult to access and required some agile crawling in a tight space. Needless to say Josh went above and beyond the call of duty to help me find my problem. If you need a roofer do yourself a favor and call East Penn. ~ Mark T

We had a wonderful experience with East Penn Roofing, from our first meeting with Austin, the senior estimator, right to the end of the job. They had to work with multiple roof lines and pitches, build out a fascia, install six new skylights, and replace four chimney flashings, and the work was expertly done. Everyone on the East Penn team was professional, respectful, and worked hard. Austin helped us navigate the claims process and communicated with the insurance company. Due to his persistence, the insurance company ultimately covered work they had initially rejected, saving us thousands of dollars. He promptly returned every phone call and email, and made the experience as stressless as possible. Everyone at East Penn Roofing from the first phone call to the last were kind, informative and friendly. Jessica was a pleasure to speak with and kept me updated through email. Patrick sat down with me and thoroughly explained what was needed, the product and the cost. Patrick was easy to work with and I felt I was in good hands. The workers lead by Ali were the best! My neighbor told me he was impressed by the workers when he needed one of the East Penn Roofing trucks moved and they immediately came down from the roof and moved it. Ali kept me updated and showed me pictures of what was being done which helped me to see the progress that I otherwise would never have seen. Our new roof is spectacular! We went from slate to standing seam metal, and the process was effortless. Scheduling an estimate with Kat (office manager) was easy. Josh (owner) provided a detailed estimate & answered our numerous questions. Jon (project manager) kept us updated as the work progressed. Alfonso (lead roofer) and his crew meticulously executed their work from sun up to sun down & were diligent about cleaning up the removed slate and other debris. In addition to the new roof, we also had new soffit/fascia and new gutters/downspouts installed. If we knew a roof replacement was going to be this simple, I would have called years ago! ~ Tia B

Our roof and siding experienced hail damage a couple years ago. We filed a claim with our insurance company, but it wasn't until East Penn Roofing became involved that we actually got what was owed to us. East Penn negotiated with the insurance company several times over the course of those couple years to get us the proper repairs and installations. They took on our claim and were invested in taking care of us and our home. I honestly can't say enough good things about Austin, Josh and the entire crew. Austin was our contact and was phenomenal, in a word. Our roof was damaged from a severe hail storm and East Penn Roofing was referred to us by a neighbor. Austin inspected the roof and dealt with my insurance company with little help from me. He was very knowledgeable, personable, and efficient. He and his team managed to get all the repairs completely covered by my insurance without any out-of-pocket expenses, which was particularly important to us during these CoViD times. Once cleared by our insurance, he and his team schedule the repairs promptly for the next available date. The team arrived very early and worked so quickly they finished by lunch. They left the site clean and without incident. I was looking for a company to fix a leaky roof, I called other companies first they didn't even show up and I was talking with a great friend and told him about my experience so far and he told me about East Penn all I can say is from start to finish they were amazing! Just reaching out to the office to see if they would come look at the job Kat said of course and set a date and AJ actually called the day of the appointment and confirmed when he would be visit and was on time. He made sure everything he was suggesting was correct and printed a detailed invoice for me and explained everything. Then Kat called telling me when the work would be scheduled and that day the foreman showed up early to introduced himself and explained what would take place and when the crew showed up everybody was working and doing an amazing job. Had my roof done about 6 months ago. Went from slate to asphalt shingles. Josh came out and inspected the roof and talked about the options. Very kind and professional, he explained everything prior to leaving. The company worked with me with scheduling and financing. Kat works in the office and is very friendly and timely. The crew was very kind and clean. Typically, slate Is a very messy process, and they controlled it very well. So far, we had snow high winds and rain with no issues at all. Very responsive organization! Josh and Kat are personable, thorough, and detail-oriented from the first meeting to outline the job, present a specific work/repair plan/quote, to the completion of the job. Honestly, Bill, the foreman, and the crew are a bit magical! We had complicated repairs to various sections of the 7 roofs of the building and they quietly, efficiently, without leaving a trace of debris in their wake, completed all the repairs in a very timely manner. I had some wind damage to my roof and initially called my insurance company which sent out their preferred contractor for assessment and a quote. I felt like I was being hoodwinked by the quote provided so I called East Penn Roofing. I was impressed with their quick response to assess the damage and provide a quote. Josh explained the damage in a way that was easily understood and we discussed an estimated repair cost. East Penn's quote was very reasonable and Josh didn't make my spidey senses go off. I absolutely recommend East Penn Roofing! During a storm, three weeks ago, the shingles blew off of our roof. I called East Penn Roofing and within a couple of days, a really nice person named Tyler arrived and talked with us, and gave us an overview of the situation along with a very reasonable quote for the job. One week later, the job was done! Katie was amazing at keeping us informed on schduling and arrival times of the crew. Not only was Josh professional and friendly, he was honest. Due to recent high winds in our area, several neighbors experienced roof and siding damage. As a result several roofers approached me for possible repairs along with outrageous quotes. Josh and East Penn were referred to me by a friend and I consider myself lucky. After a free inspection, Josh assured me that my roof was fine and had minor damage which he repaired at no cost. Barring any major storms, I was told my roof would last 8-10 years. The estimate process was thorough & quick. Josh even showed up early. When the work & costs were agreed to, 1 week later I received a call that they were going to start my roof replacement. The crew was exceptional. They arrived early & got straight to work. They had the roof completely torn off in no time. I even liked the driver of the materials delivery. He was attentive the the correct material before it was offloaded from the boom truck. They replaced my roof in record time. They texted me pictures and it looks awesome. I had a very good experience. I had sustained some wind damage to my home and had fascia blown off at my roofline. I called East Penn Roofing to schedule an estimate. They scheduled the estimate for the next day. The tech showed up early and gave me an estimate that I approved. He said he would be able to run out, pick up the material to match mine, come right back and do the job. The whole repair was done within 3 hours of what I thought would only be a visit for an estimate. I will not hesitate to call this company back the next time I need a roofer. ~ dscottw01
